Please help my pal Robin Turner raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) by sponsoring her run at the LLS Princess half marathon in Orlando, FL in February 2012 Robin's dad, Dale, died of leukemia in the 1980's. Since that time much progress has been made in the treatment of blood cancers and, had he developed the disease now, his prognosis would have been significantly better. Established in 1949, the LLS is the largest voluntary health organization in the world. The LLS has donated $750 million to research in blood cancers and thier ongoing research efforts have led to the development of many new medicines that are both effective and less toxic than previous medications.
